Many moons ago I was grabbing some Taco Bell, listening to radio. A show called The Thistle & Shamrock was on (yes I sometimes listen to NPR) doing a special on the Jacobites.
Ceolbeg's version of Johnnie Cope came on and I was terribly impressed. I wanted to learn it for open mic performances. Sadly, I couldn't find his record at the time except through shipping from overseas. As much as I liked it, I wasn't going to pay $25 for one song.
I looked over the lyrics, listened to a few other interpretations, and tried to create a reasonable facsimile. The result I've recorded and posted on Youtube for your enjoyment.
Vocals were recorded with a Rhode NT-1 condenser mic.
Guitar is a Taylor 30th anniversary using the built in pickups.
Both through a M-Audio Fast Track Pro recorded by Audacity in Windows.
Editing done In Audacity in Ubuntu.
Video editing in OpenShot.
Since I originally arranged the song, music download services have popped up, and not long ago I was able to purchase Ceolbeg's Seeds to the Wind through the Ubuntu One Music Store.

I'm really sick of getting porn spam in Japanese. Knock it off.
